Today's Home Learning 23.02.21
Date: 22nd Feb 2021 @ 6:18pm
Welcome back Year 6!
We hope you all had a fantastic half term and a very well deserved break.
After a very strange start to 2021 and lots of homeschooling we really are looking forward to seeing you all back in school very soon.
The weekly timetable has been uploaded onto the school spider for you to take a look over and of course there is the daily video to explain your tasks for today.
Brief overview
Maths - Ratio and Proportion - This is a re-cap lesson from things you learnt during Spring 1. There is a video for you to watch and work through the questions.
English - You should have finished listening to 'Journey to the River Sea' if you have not yet finished please spend some time finishing the story. Don't forget you can listen to each chapter on YouTube. You are then going to be completing a book review. A PowerPoint has been uploaded onto the school spider to support you with this.
Geography - Today we are looking at the South American Country of Ecuador in more detail. Our focus will be on the Galapagos Islands.
Your challenge is to locate the islands on a world map.
Don't forget to send us a picture of your completed work and remember myself or Miss Flynn are here if you need any help.
Have a brilliant week.
