We then spent the first half of the morning exploring the museum- we particularly enjoyed the mummy room and aquarium!
After that, we took part in a workshop in the Planetarium. We loved learning about the solar system and how telescopes ? work!

Drama with Mr Glen
Today Year 5 worked with Mr Glen in the drama study. After we had warmed up, we continued exploring the incredible expedition made by Sir Ernest Shackleton. We have been looking at diary entries, photographs and films of the event. Using these, we recreated scenes and performed them for the rest of the class using sound effects and thought tracking. Next week we will start looking at the scripted elements. Excellent work by all today. Well done year 5
