Road Safety, by Mrs Harris

Date: 10th Jun 2022 @ 9:35pm

Wirral has a new road safety scheme starting ???

Our Lady and St Edward's Catholic Primary School are signing up to the scheme to keep us all as safe as possible when coming to and leaving school ?

We would love our families to help and support us by parking safely at all times ??

• please do not stop or park on the zig zags - it’s illegal to park on yellow zig-zag lines anywhere ?

• please do not stop or park in or over the entrance to the staff car park - this is very dangerous as children cross here and you will obstruct any emergency vehicle attempting to access the school ?

• please do not stop or park over the driveways of local residents ?

• please do not stop or park in or over the entrance to AIR SEA CONTAINERS - the entrance is regularly used by AIR SEA CONTAINERS and you will obstruct any emergency vehicle attempting to access the building ?

• Wirral parking camera car regularly attends school and fines are issued for contraventions ?

F2W - Jubilee Celebrations, by Miss Ward

Date: 20th May 2022 @ 6:02pm

The children in F2W have had a fun filled day celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. We started our day by showing off our fabulous party clothes and reading stories to learn about our Queen. The children then enjoyed joining in with lots of different Royal themed activities such as making red, white and blue iced biscuits, posting letters to the Queen, drawing portraits of the Royal Family, designing their own money, making bunting and so much more!

The children enjoyed a lovely royal lunch together and went outside to sing the national anthem – we even had a special visitor join us!

What a brilliant day we have had!

Wirral Football, by Miss Flynn

Date: 4th May 2022 @ 3:21pm

Hi all,
Just to let you know that the application process for Wirral U11/U10's Boys and U11 Girls football trials has switched to online this year and is already open. All the information and forms can be found on our Twitter account @Wirral PSFA.

A link to the application form:

Grateful if you could make the children, who you feel can play at the standard required to represent Wirral at local and national level, and their parents aware of the form.

The closing date for the Girls team is the 3rd May and the Boys teams 6th May, we also have to limit the number of players attending each session at Stage 1.

We will be running an U10s Boys Team, U11s Boys Team and U11s Girls Team. This means that the process is open to children who are currently in Year 4 and Year 5 (Year 5 and Year 6 next academic year).

Many thanks
